Dubai Desert Safari Packages Compared, From AED 40 to AED 260
Blog Article
Choosing a desert trip shouldn't feel like homework. But with so many Dubai desert safari packages to choose from, it's easy to feel lost. Should you go VIP? Is the Hummer worth it? Do you need a quad bike? We answer all of those questions below, in plain English.
We're Dubai Safari Desert, and we run desert trips all year, from short morning rides to full nights in the desert. Here's how our packages compare, so you can pick the right one in a few minutes.
How to Choose in Three Steps
Before comparing prices, ask yourself three quick questions:
• Do you have a morning, an evening or a full night free?
• Would you rather drive yourself or be driven?
• Do you want extra comfort, or is the standard camp fine?
Once you have the answers, the right package usually picks itself.
Evening Dubai Safari Options
Most people book an evening trip, and for good reason. You get golden light on the dunes, a sunset stop and dinner with shows after dark. All evening trips run from about 2 PM to 9 PM.
Our Classic Evening Trip at AED 80
This is the trip that gives you the most for the money. The evening Dubai safari includes 4x4 pickup, dune bashing, a camel ride, a buffet dinner and four live shows. For a classic first desert trip, start here.
The AED 100 Evening Trip
For a little more, you get a few extras, such as sandboarding and henna, along with a BBQ dinner and pickup in an air-conditioned car.
VIP Dubai Safari, AED 120
Want a better seat at the camp? Our VIP Dubai safari includes VIP seating, a BBQ buffet and four live shows. It's a small step up in price, but the evening feels more relaxed.
Premium Desert Safari Dubai, AED 230
For the most comfort, choose our premium desert safari Dubai package. You get premium service throughout the evening, and you can add a quad bike if you like.
If You Want Some Speed
Some guests want more than a ride in the back of a 4x4. These packages are for them.
Quad Bike Safari at AED 160
You get the full evening trip plus your own quad bike ride on the dunes. Timing is the same, about 2 PM to 9 PM, and it's one of our most-booked trips for groups of friends.
Buggy Plus Quad Bike at AED 200
Why choose between a buggy and a quad? Try both. Our buggy and quad bike safari comes with helmets and safety gear, and the timing is flexible.
Hummer Dubai Safari, AED 140
Riding over the dunes in a Hummer feels very different from a normal 4x4. Our Hummer Dubai safari runs from about 2 PM to 9 PM, with the usual camp, dinner and shows at the end.
Sunrise and Overnight Trips
Sunrise Desert Safari Dubai, AED 140
Early risers will love the sunrise desert safari Dubai trip. It goes from around 8 AM to 11 AM, with photo stops on the dunes and water and soft drinks included. You're back before lunch with the rest of the day free.
Overnight Dubai Safari, AED 260
For the full desert experience, stay the night. Our overnight Dubai safari runs from around 2 PM until 9 AM the next morning. You get the evening programme, a night in the camp, stargazing and breakfast.
Self Drive Package
If you have your own 4x4, the self drive safari costs only AED 40 per person. You meet us at our parking area at around 3 PM, and the evening ends around 9 PM. It's the cheapest way to enjoy the camp, the dinner and the shows.

The Basics You Always Get
Whichever package you pick, a few things stay the same. Our camps follow a traditional Bedouin style, with low seating, soft lights and plenty of space. There are always veg and non-veg dishes at dinner. We confirm your pickup and drop-off 24 hours before the trip, so you're never left waiting and wondering.
We also run trips from Abu Dhabi for AED 140, plus city tours of Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Hatta, if you want to explore more of the country.
How the Evening Goes
Your driver picks you up in the early afternoon. After a while, the buildings disappear and the dunes begin. The driver lowers the tyre pressure, and the dune bashing begins. The 4x4 climbs each dune, tips over the top and slides down the other side. It's a bumpy ride, but most people love it.
Next, you stop on a high dune to watch the sunset. From there, you head to the camp for a camel ride, dinner and live shows. By about 9 PM, you're on your way back to your hotel.
Is Dune Bashing Safe?
Our drivers do this every day and know the dunes well. Seatbelts stay on the whole way. If you feel car sick easily, eat light and sit in the front. Pregnant guests, people with back problems and parents with babies should tell us when they book, and we'll help you pick the right trip.
Questions We Hear Every Day
Is the Hummer trip worth it?
If you want something different from a normal 4x4, yes. The Hummer is bigger and feels more read more powerful on the dunes, and it makes for great photos.
What's the best trip for a family?
Families usually choose the AED 80 evening trip or the AED 120 VIP trip. Children enjoy the camel ride and the shows.
Is hotel pickup part of the price?
Yes, all our guided trips include pickup and drop-off. Only the self drive option needs you to make your own way.
Is there a dress code?
Light, loose clothes and comfortable shoes are best. In winter, a light jacket is a good idea for the evening.
Do you take large groups?
Yes, just tell us how many people are coming and we'll plan the cars.
